TaalMala is not free software. When you purchase a license of TaalMala software, either on your PC or mobile device, you are purchasing a license to use it on your device, subject to our licensing policy outlined on this page. If you require a new license, we decide on a case-by-case basis whether to provide a substitute license for TaalMala. This means that we may decide (at our sole discretion) not to provide the substitute license to you. Normally, we do provide substitute license key for valid reasons such as upgrading your computer or Android device, as long as you do not ask for it "very frequently" (as defined below). Note that regardless of anything stated elsewhere, our licensing is governed by terms and conditions listed on this page. By installing the licensed version of TaalMala on your device, you are explicitly agreeing with the following terms and conditions:

TaalMala on your Android Device

If you purchased a license for your Android device from Google Play Store, you are bound by all terms and conditions of Google Play Store. The license provided on Google Play Store is a perpetual license for the version you purchased and is associated with your Google ID. You must sign into your Android device with the same ID which you used for purchasing the license. In such a case, TaalMala license is automatically detected by the app when you are connected to the Internet.

Reinstallation (License purchased from Google Play Store)

If you purchased a license to TaalMala app on your Android device via Google Play Store, and you change you device, you can easily transfer the license to your new device. Ensure that you sign into your new Android device using the same Google ID used while purchasing and remain connected to the Internet for some time when TaalMala is started for the first time on your new device. The license will get detected automatically on your new device. Assuming that you purchased TaalMala from Google Play Store after September 2015, please follow these instructions to reinstall TaalMala on your device or install on a new device.

  1. If there is non-working installation of the app on your device, please uninstall it completely from Android Settings menu.
  2. Most important: Keep your phone connected to a solid internet connection throughout the procedure below.
  3. Download and install the TaalMala app from Google Play Store
  4. Start the app while being connected to the Internet. The license will get detected automatically.
  5. Keep your phone connected to the internet until the license gets detected (2-3 minutes max). You will get a message on screen confirming installation of purchased upgrades.
  6. If the license is not detected, go to "Settings", scroll to the bottom of the screen and press on the License Refresh button. Wait for the license to get refreshed from Google servers. You will get a message on screen confirming installation of purchased upgrades.
  7. If the license is still not detected, please restart your device and repeat the above procedure.

"14-day Trial Expired" Message

TaalMala app periodically validates your license with Google servers. The app will warn you a few days in advance if the license validation is unsuccessful (typically because you have not connected the device to Internet for a long time and started TaalMala afresh). In such case, you may see a message "14-day Trial Expired". If this happens, do the following:

  1. Exit the app by pressing your device's back button twice in quick succession.
  2. Most important: Keep your device connected to a solid internet connection throughout the procedure below.
  3. Restart the app while being connected to the Internet. The license will get detected automatically.
  4. Keep your phone connected to the internet until the license gets detected (2-3 minutes max). You will get a message on screen confirming installation of purchased upgrades.
  5. If the license is not detected, go to "Settings", scroll to the bottom of the screen and press on the License Refresh button. Wait for the license to get refreshed from Google servers. You will get a message on screen confirming installation of purchased upgrades.
  6. If the license is still not detected, please restart your device and repeat the above procedure.
  7. If the license does not get detected even after restart, please uninstall and reinstall the app from Google Play Store.

If you purchased a license from Google Play Store prior to September 2015, the current app available on Google Play Store will not work on your device. If you are one of such customers, please see the relevant section below for the procedure.

  2. A lifetime maximum 6 licenses will be issued. If you need to get a license for your 7th Android device, you will need to purchase a new license by paying again.

Upgrading your Device or OS version

Although we test every release of TaalMala on a large number of devices (both Android and iOS), we cannot guarantee that the app will continue working on every device, because there are thousands of varieties of devices in the market. That is why we provide the trial edition of the app, which you can try on your device before purchasing a license. If you upgrade your device and the app stops working, we cannot be held responsible. We will provide assistance to you to get it working on your new device, but we cannot guarantee it. If it does not work on your new device, your only option will be to continue using it on your older device.

Same policy as above applies to new OS versions (Android updates, iOS updates etc.). Although we test every release of TaalMala on a large number of OS versions (both Android and iOS), we cannot guarantee that the app will continue working on every new OS update, because there may be changes in the OS that affect every device differently. That is why we provide the trial edition of the app, which you can try on your OS version before purchasing a license. If you upgrade your OS and the app stops working, we cannot be held responsible. We will provide assistance to you to get it working on the new OS version, but we cannot guarantee it. If it does not work on new OS version, your only option will be to revert the OS update (it may not be even possible and we can't help in such cases). Therefore, if you are concerned about TaalMala not working on the update, you should avoid installing OS updates.

Android Google Play Purchases before September 2015

If you purchased the "TaalMala Classic/Full" or "TaalMala Basic" app license from Google Play Store before September 2015, you bought either "TaalMala Classic" or "TaalMala Basic" from Google Play Store, which are technically different apps from the currently listed "TaalMala" app on Play Store. In that case, do not install the app "TaalMala" directly from Play Store, because your older license will not be detected by our new app. Customers who purchased before September 2015 should obtain the app installer for older version by contacting us and providing the information below. We will then share the download link with you. Once you download and install from the download link, your license will automatically get detected. When contacting us, please include the following information (all details are required):

  • Your complete name used when purchasing license
  • Google payment receipt
  • Your license purchase details - Edition purchased, date (if you don't have the Google receipt)
  • Ensure that you send the email from the same email address used when purchasing. Emails coming from other addresses will not be responded. If, for some reason, you cannot write from the original email account, please explain the reason and send other identification details.
  • Google ID (email address) which you use for signing into your device.

Any emails with missing information will not be entertained or responded to.

TaalMala on your iOS Device (iPhone, iPad or iPod)
